So, apparently I was wrong from the beginning. Brody is a terrorist. Even if he doesn't see himself that way and his reasons are actually understandable. I have to give credit to the writers for fooling me because everything really was like it seems. Well, most of it anyway.
Now I don't like Brody and still don't like Carrie and the only reason to carry on would be because I bought the first three seasons on DVD at once. But that just isn't enough.
The finale was really anticlamatic. There should have been some payoff at the end. Instead it's probably been dragged out another full season.
The final three episodes really picked up in intensity and the final showdown of Dad/Daughter was really well done. It made the season worthwhile. Danes for the final three episodes was some great acting - her pain was palpable.
Sidelining your protagonist for the climax and trusting it's resolution to a phone call rather than some boom-boom-action is some gutsy storytelling - which makes the the very straight-forward early episodes of this season all the more aggravating. It was good, could have been great.
It got me angry. I really hated the story, but as a show I think they did good. So I gave it 8 because of the mixed feelings it generated.

This episode would probably have been better if he set off the bomb at the end tbh. Not a fan of how they treated Carrie.
