Hot Priest's Daemon was unmistakably Phoebe Waller-Bridge. I can't decide if that casting is perfect or too on the nose.
Also why did they add all that exposition at the start for what was easily explained by Jopari and the previous bearer??? So odd
Finally Pan was shown to be somewhat useful. I think this story would be much more interesting if daemons were useful for something physical (besides threatening other daemons) instead of just being huge liabilities.
At the end of one of the previous episodes we saw a Spectre rising behind Will. What happened to that?
Oliver is such a stupid character. Your research is finally getting somewhere and this random guy wants to come in and dangle money and you think it's a Hail Mary to save your research instead of thinking it's suspicious timing? He even said it himself that they "haven't exactly been inundated with offers." I get his point of view but as well as Mary's but as far as I'm concerned he's only seeing money and way more blinded than her.
