I loved the episode, Got a Pirates of the Carribean/Black Sails vibe to it.
I also loved it when Jerry dropped the ''Dead men tell no tales" pun!
I do like the letter font they used in the beginning... very pirate like
The score though was a total rip off of Pirates of the Caribbean (like Brian Tyler and Keith Power got lazy and just took it from the movie completely), and I was expecting to see Johnny Depp in the middle of those pirates.
Love the new scenes in the intro... and the group shot including Jerry, now they just need one that features Max and it's going to be complete.
Well, the pirate case was very interesting, with lots of twists and turns that were very well written... i was surprised or didn't see it coming most of the time. Jerry was the perfect help for a case like this!! I like that he is helping out without being too forced in the SL. And he got so excited about the whole thing It was adorable.
Danny being worried about Steve/Catherine's just to be all on board when Steve mentioning proposing was also cute. He really cares about Steve, and he witnessed how tough it was the last time they separated, so he is just concerned. I also LOVED how he was so excited that he blurted it out to Grover and Chin And then both of them kind of made fun of Danny because he was bragging about his proposal to Rachel and they all knew how it had ended up. Grover was right, if you're going to do it, do it right.
Good continuity with bringing up Danny's claustrophobia though!
Kono looked way better with her hair down in that dress... although why was there a change in hairdo if that is suppose to be right after the last scene we saw in season 5 finale?!?!
LOVED the ohana dancing in the wedding!!! So cute and funny to see them all light up for a bit
Kono/Adam melt my heart! So beautiful and perfect for each other! Mrs Noshimuri & Mr Kalakaua
Now... I stand correctly I do like Gabriel more than Wo Fat as a villain... but with that said, the H50 writers really need to tone down on the torture or at least make it more traumatic to people, because in the show everybody gets tortured and right after act like nothing happened
Poor Kono and Adam, that's not a way to start a married life.... and now they even have the Yakuza to worry about
Not it was pretty stupid of Kono to kill the torturer, drive off to the bank and not even call backup.... Then when she got there, she just stood there waiting for Gabriel to shoot Adam... It all didn't make sense at all!!
Speaking of not making sense... how did Kono got free from her ropes so fast? Because in one shot she is balancing on the chair all tied up trying to reach for the knife and then the guy sees her, she land back on the chair and in the few steps he got to arrive, she was not only with the knife but also had one hand free?!?!!?! Exaggeration!!
Oh boy ... has this show lost its way. Used to be a very strong staple in the schedule and an enjoyable watch, but has gone downhill over the years.
I was amazed that it was renewed for a sixth season last year and thought it was going to be cancelled then.
New credits, pirates, treasures and new history

Could have been a good episode but was really ruined by the useless writer hacks continuing to drag on this bullshit never ending story with Kono and Chin Ho.
