I'm old..... I never heard any of the songs in this shows 1st episode's SOUND-TRACK.....
I like these songs..... someone did a great job picking music.
What on earth is going on? How do you have so many pictures of someone you interacted with.. maybe three times. I finally recognized Constance Zimmer not from Entourage which I should have but from UnReal which is an amazing show. The show is clearly not losing steam yet. The dialog issues that plagued the first episode are tightened up. Mickey makes some clearly bad decisions here but they aren't unjustified.
I did mean to call out that it's odd that Mickey believes this old woman for zero reason. Knowing your name and saying nonsense isn't really enough to make it believable but I can chalk that up to grief.
I also kinda think the racial aspects are a sort of weird refreshing aspect. It's not too much, not too little.
Speaking of tech I meant to call out something last episode. Text color. Holy flaming snot bubble do I not care on an emotional level but it's interesting when Mickey was first texting the Ashley their conversation was blue. But when she disappeared his messages turned green. Having done support for apple I'm not sure it would change that fast without intentional intervention but it's a fun thing to notice. It means her phone number went from being an active number on an Apple Device (and thus the messages are internet-based iMessage) to being a regular number (and thus the messages are cellular based SMS). I don't think it signifies anything but considering how much tighter this second episode has been maybe. The other thing to notice is when the teacher is trying to guess the password we see it. That is especially not the way that Filevault passwords work on macOS. I know you can make a specific disk locked with a password but I maintain Apple is bloody frustrating in now letting you see the password as you type it.
The episode is an improvement on the pilot but the pilot was good.

This show is.... Not that great. The acting and writing is so lazy it's like a hallmark movie.
Oh the Zimmer front (only reason I'm watching) am I reading into that interaction with her ex best friend or was it hella weighted?
