First of all, I am so grateful that AMC let this amazing crew and cast finish their vision.

I lived in Silicon Valley for last 18 years, during the heights of dotcom, followed by a dotcom crash, then web 2.0 revival, and now cloud computing and machine learning revolution. I remember coming to Silicon Valley with big dreams, living in a sparsely furnished 1-bedroom apartment. Worked with big companies, worked with dotcom startups. Ups and downs. Now living in a pretty nice house in the heart of Silicon Valley, I sometimes wonder if my dreams are still alive. Just like the cast of Halt and Catch Fire.

The series ends with an open question, the very question that started the series: "Let me start by asking a question."

Dreams start with a question. And like Phoenix, it's then all about the journey. People you meet and work with. The brainstorming. Sleepless nights. Iterate. Demos. Failures. Pivots. I loved every minutes of Halt and Catch Fire. It's been an amazing journey.

Decent ending but so sad the ride is over.

Lived through those years shown in the series putting the Internet into the commercial realm from the NSFNET and related totally to the technical and business ups and downs shown by this amazing series. The characters were tremendously developed and who could not be totally touched by Gordon's passion and then his untimely passing, and the evolution of Cameron from wild coding girl to a really sensitive and understanding person. And Donna! What can one say about that transformation from house wife to partner at a VC firm and the strength and support she showed at her dinner for female professionals. And Joe finally finding his bliss with the humanities! Being human was his life's search and he finally found himself in the end.

Sad to see this series end, but what a ride!

It's nice when a show knows that it's wrapping things up and has an opportunity to provide closure for both its characters and its audience. It's even nicer when a show takes that opportunity and knocks it out of the park. A great ending for a great show.

I really drug my feet getting around to watching Season 4, because I was kind of bored by Season 3. This season's focus on the people and the relationships really was so great. Glad I got around to watching it.

Series finale, although season 4 has been the weakest, the series has been good. Farewell to Donna, Joe, Cameron, Gordon and Boss.
