What about Nick's finger that he cut last episode? Why didn't anyone think, "Oh, this thing could've just healed Monroe! To be sure, let's check your finger, Nick" or "let me cut myself real quick to test this thing out"? Monroe was healed and Nick happened to be holding the stick. Why wouldn't they test the stick to make sure it wasn't just some weird coincidence?
"I can beat them with both hands behind my back....... With a mask like that, I could win."
"Won? I crushed him. Not that I couldn't have anyway."
I agree with @jane_lane. This episode was absurd. Why did he need the mask if he could allegedly win anyway? Why would the shop owner even make him that mask if he didn't feel the kid was ready for it? And if it only takes wearing the mask twice or thrice outside of the ring to make the kid lose his mind, the shop owner was being especially stupid for giving him that mask.
Sooo, did the Royals just give up after the King's death? It's been several months since that happened, and the Royals seem to have just vanished. And I sincerely hope that Diana will be reunited with Adalind before the series' end. The little girl shouldn't have to be raised by some organization that only wants to use her. And Adalind's proven herself to be a decent mother...

What a silly episode. If the guy was just pretending to be weak, why did he want a magic mask to enhance his fighting ability?
