Yay! He's back!! It's about time too.
Nick's feeling a little too good about the night before.
So Nick's only been a cop for 6 years? That doesn't seem right at all. The timeline in the show tries to keep up with real world time when possible, and previous conversations have confirmed that it has been at least two years, so this is likely Nick's third, going on fourth, year as a Grimm. That means in the first episode, he had only been a cop for 2-3 years. That would also suggest that Nick only became a cop when he moved to Portland (in season 2, it was said that he and Juliette moved into their house 3 years prior). In fact, we know that's not right because Juliette met Nick as a cop. The only way this works out is if by "one of my first cases", Nick meant in Portland but he had already been a cop elsewhere. This is nitpicking, sure, but I hate when writers screw up their own continuity for the sake of a temporary plot and expect people not to notice.
Why the HELL would Trubel leave Josh alone? Sure, Rosalee might have been in danger, but she's a Fushbau and Juliette showed up with a gun. Josh on the other hand looks like he can't even throw a punch...

Finally this nonsense with Nick not being a Grimm is finished.
