Very weak season.
First, the drama about Zola which comes out of the blue... of course, there are no schools for the highly gifted in/around Seattle. Of course, Meredith can only do her Alzheimer's research in Boston... yeah, right. Yawn.
Then there's the Maggie drama. Sorry, but rarely have I seen such a self-absorbed, entitled, childish character as her. Good riddance - and I hope she stays gone for good.
Next we have the topic of abortion... granted, it's important, granted, there are millions of women in the US who now have little to no access to safe abortions and/or pregnancy care. But let's face it, few of those responsible for restricting that access even watch Grey's Anatomy. So, it's a bit like preaching to the choir here. (I guess it would be another thing if the show ran on Fox...). But it has been good to see Addison again - this show could use her much more, to be honest because the rest is repetitive and stagnant character-wise.
And the interns? Adams' little ADHS-drama? Simone's maybe or not wedding? Mika's being overworked and underpayed? Who actually cares? Link and Jo, Altman as chief... boring, boring, boring.
Honestly, for quite some time now I always wonder why I keep watching this show... at some point it was a great show, then there were but inklings of greatness in a couple of episodes per season... But now? Not sure if watching this show isn't a habit I should drop... perhaps.

I really miss watching soap operas (or any series lately really) that are not politically loaded. Grey's always felt universal. Now, it feels too US centric.
