Gintama Gintama Gintama…
In the last few days I was trapped in an emotion-rollercoaster…
It was so intensive, so dramatic, so strong, so beautiful to watch and so sad. So sad and depressing but still beautiful because that’s what you makes fall in love with this anime.
The worst what can happen if you watch an anime and it should make the viewer sad but you don’t care because the character isn’t strongly narrated or built up… BUT as we all know in Gintama everything is different and that’s great!
We know even all the villains have a sad past so we feel bad for them afterwards. And in Gintama the mangaka cared about every character. There so much love in every detail…
It’s just so cruel for me and Nobume to kill him off in the end :(

Always happy to have more Nobume in my Gintama. I do think it's a shame that they "chickened out" with her backstory so it turned out she didn't kill Isaburo's wife and child. I think their relationship would have been more interesting if she still had and he "accepted" her even so.
I always liked Isaburo's character so whilst it wasn't unexpected, it was sad to see him sacrifice himself in the end.
