This episode was going ok but then it became about how unquestionably beautiful large women are and how men oppressed women for so long. I'm all for people being nice to each other and not ridiculing people because of their size and women pleasuring themselves but the Alberta storyline forgot that it was in a comedy and the while the Hetty story was leveraged for a couple of jokes it ended up leaning into the moralising rubbish.
I came back to watch season 2 after diverting to the original show after season one of this. After the first episode of the original I was thinking it was no better and if anything, maybe a bit too silly. That show got better each episode up to the end of season 2 when it peaked (UK Ghosts seasons are a third as long as US Ghosts). The US episodes are slightly shorter but with the focus on drama and moralising they leave very little time for humour.
