I was really looking forward to the next big Claire Danes project.
After the first few minutes of episode 1 I am already hugely disappointed. Wtf at the shaky cam footage? They are so obviously making it on purpose extra shaking that it almost makes me feel sick to the stomach - or at the very least annoyed.
Very much doubt I will continu watching this, if theres anymore of that shaky cam sequences.

MODERATION EDIT: Don't be disrespectful.

A handful of big names in this suspense, expected it to be a bit better. It's got a lot of ground to cover and I'm going to keep going because it has me intrigued. There was a lot going on in the first two episodes, a lot of build up for twists and turns.

Was pretty good actually, better then I expected when I was watching first episode.
It felt like the flow of the story was a little bit confusing but that might just have been me. Maybe I didn't pay that much attention (or fell asleep lol) during one of the episodes.

4 episodes in, please make it stop, it is awful watching. Don't waste your time. Gave up, really don't care about the characters or plot. I only watched because of Danes, such a shame

Solid names in this thriller. I liked the first two episodes very much and the plot seems interesting.
I'm hooked for the next ones.

Just for the names involved in this production , merits a watch and see if you like it. I can't wait for the next episode.

It was fine. It's the kind of show that is right up my alley but it didn't hit for me. Zazie Beetz' character is one of the least likeable characters I've seen in a long time.

The show was okay close to being a noway. My main complaints are 1st why didn't the brother and sister tell their friend or anybody else...wrong kid? Secondly, I did not know the postal service inspectors had the power to act like real detectives and did cases like this, where was the mail fraud or anything like this? Zazie is one of my favorite actors but investigating a kidnapping? plus the writers seem to want to make her a super detective...I mean come on she running point over the NYPD and the FBI?

Wishing for Clair Dane's next hit BUT THAT AIN'T IT! A shaky cam disjointed mess. Most of the main characters are at best fillers along with the Jamaican mod drama nobody asked for. Ep 1 skupping through all of the mid part tonget to the end. Ep. 2 nothing fixed or improved. I'm jumping ship cuz it's a waste of time! Rate 3/10

One episode in and I couldn't care less what happens next or if anyone dies or not. It's a total waste of time.

Got bored out of my mind within first 30 minutes. Quit it before "sunk time fallacy" kicks in.

I was looking forward to this because of the cast but unfortunately I was left feeling deflated it just didn't work for me and to make it worst was the terrible Guyanese accent which was painful to listen too but mudda skunt did make me laugh. I wouldn't recommend this.

[HBO Max] The story is inspired by the kidnapping of "High and low" (1963), but where Akira Kurosawa offered a perfect suspense that poses a deep moral dilemma to the protagonist, Steven Soderbergh's series ends up being gibberish in which everything tangles to stretch the story up to six endless episodes. The cast of renowned performers seems somewhat lost with their characters, the plot constantly loses focus and the tension is proportionally less as the story unravels. The Ed Solomon/Steven Soderbergh tandem is better suited to two-hour stories.
