Ok I’m kinda hooked even though the new family are a bit annoying I’m still curious e l where this is all going to go
the weaknesses of the first episode really came to the forefront here from the annoying new family going through the whole "what no this can't be true!" routine to some creaky writing ("if you find the right spot even a nightmare can look like a dream" :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting:) a lot scenes that were very effortfully trying more than actually doing
I'm kind of hooked for now
There are some great elements to this show. I can’t say I’m not intrigued. But some of the acting, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired.
Another great episode, despite the slower pace it was necessary to get to know Donna and this house that houses several people. Apparently the entire town is made up of people who ended up being trapped there. But why? And what are these creatures? Did the boy see any of them during the day or was it just a vision? He sure has something special.
Shouldn't the board have already been wiped from the previous episode/day's incident?
Did they really need to ruin it with yet another iteration of "kid who creeps the heck out of everyone by muttering about cryptic visions" .
Hope they can keep up the tension for the remainder of the show, otherwise...
A bit underwhelmed for now but it could become more interesting!
This episode will put you to sleep. Dreadfully slow paced and boring. Bad acting means no interest in any of these characters. I think I’ll have to give up on this series. 1/10.
Young Lenny Kravitz is pretty good at portraits
Still good but a bit slow at times
7/10
The second episode, “The Way Things Are Now,” is a bit of a disappointment. The pacing is slow and drags throughout, which holds the episode, as a whole, back. While there were certainly some moments, and the mystery is intriguing, it doesn’t do quite enough to separate itself from feeling like another “Lost”-like show. I hope future episodes will pick up the pace and get the story moving.
01x02 - The Way Things Are Now: 6.6/10 (Fair, Above Average)

I appreciate that - unlike most mystery horror shows - by episode 2 they're telling the newcomers the truth about the place.
