I have to say this was perhaps the best episode out of all seasons and could have made a great series ender...so glad there is another season though :-)

S4 wasn't quite as good as I remember it being. In retrospect, the latter half of S2 to most of S3 is the peak of the show. S4 could've been really cool with the universes being linked, and it did have some cool stuff, but they messed up by sidelining Peter for part of it and then having him wanting to "return" to his timeline for almost the entire rest of the time. Had that not been an aspect, S4 would've been a lot better.

Near the end of S3, in the animated episode, there's a mysterious guy in an X t-shirt, and at the end of that episode Olivia says it's who will kill her. Reading up on it, that was supposed to be William Bell, and the X represents the marking on the nanites. Was that some plotline they had planned but decided to ultimately drop and not flesh out more? Because that's a really lame payoff. Doesn't make much sense to plant that seed so early on, when it really doesn't lead to much of anything.

That was so lame to even call it as a cliffhanger
