Great opening teaser. Really terrific way to kick off the series. I'm a sucker for crazy science and conspiracy stuff, so my objectivity is clouded right from the start.

Passengers on plane are dissolved. Agent Scott translucent.

Some really bad dialogue, delivered pretty woodenly, stupid plots and ‘science’. Finds an excuse to get the hot lead to take her clothes off. Predictable.
I was honestly laughing out loud at some of the ridiculous developments in this.
I really don’t understand why this is so highly rated and loved.
It made Lost seem much more realistic.
J.J and co at their worst.

Couldn't even make it 20 minutes before quitting. Edit: I watched this episode again months and months ago, think i watched it all the way through and it was still bad.

What a good pilot for a great series. Noble is spectacular, although Torv always looks like she's either trying to pass gas or hold it in

I thought I would revisit the show seeing how I haven't watched it in years. it still seems to be good

I miss shows from this decade. They just had an energy after 9/11 that was just “different”. Plots were just close to reality when tons of wacky thrown in. Too bad that formula just doesn’t work anymore. Wacky is sadly reality now.

This is my third attempt at this show because I need something to fill the void that discovering POI has left in me. It's been so long since my most recent attempt at the first season so of course I have to start over. Hopefully I finish it this time? If not, maybe it's time to accept I really won't like this show as much as I'd... like to.

This is like my fifth time watching the pilot! But I never get to finish the show, not because it’s bad but because it’s been so hard to find it! Finally it was uploaded to hbo max in latam, so hopefully this time I get to finish it. But I’m not complaining cause 13 years later this is still one of the best pilots ever!
