Pointless boomer schlock and an insult to the original series, which still stands the test of time.

If you liked the original, give this one a pass. The writing is horrible and the acting is worse.

How to do reboots badly.

Use canned laughter.
Mention old characters, but never see them.
Get Del Boys little brother drunk.

This show died when its target demographic did......

Fantastic and hilarious. Not QUITE as funny as the original, which was my second favorite sitcom ever, without Niles and Martin, but still very funny. Don’t care one bit about laugh track, just makes me feel more like watching the original. Really don’t understand some people.

This is way worse than when Murphy Brown came back. Night Court, too. We need to leave these gems in the past where they belong ( along with some of the relics - like Grammer ) what's next? Golden Girls without the girls? I wouldn't be surprised if they were working on Cheers. Let's ruin 3rd Rock From The Sun! Let's bring back the Bob Newhart show... Idk how exactly, considering his age, but hey, let's try anyway.

Here is one that I can't imagine them ever doing with out Phil Hartman, but wouldn't put past them; Newsradio.

Who wants to see any of this... It's a sad cash grab and it's a pathetic attempt. Just watch the originals again. They'll bring you more joy, less disappointment

I absolutely loved the original Frasier and have enjoyed Kelsey Grammer in some not so popular things such as Boss.

This reboot is just awful.

Dreadful. Actually, beyond dreadful. I watched the whole thing because of the enormous credit in the bank the character had, and also hoping it would start to improve. It did not.

A simple two word review ultimately suffices for this show: utter shit.

Let us hope they not only cancel this and never make another show bearing the character's name, but also apologise for doing such unpleasant things to such a lovely thing.

Some things should be left in the past and this is definitely one of them...
Why can't Hollywood just let things be? Oh wait, they have no imagination... Disney's been doing it for almost 100 years.

Hard to believe this is actually shot in front of a live audience (see the pre-show special). They must get them all drunk and add some canned laughter to make this a 'comedy' because the writing isn't funny at all. The acting is even worse. Check out your local high school play - there are probably better actors there.

Not sure where the hate is coming from, it's great to have Frasier back! Loved this season so far, especially the Freddy character.

Everything old is new again

I'm probably the only one that didn't find Frasier to by funny at all. I've seen it in this era not when it came out so i found the comedy to be old school and not funny anymore.

This is a worthy continuation of the old series - unlike most of the other old series continuations of late. It is, however, missing some of the original cast - although a couple have shown up in cameos. Roz looks much better now, 30 years older. But the new show has some fairly decent new cast members. I do find the Alan Cornwall character to be a bit (a lot) annoying. He is too much of a stereotype caricature.

How I rate:
1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too
9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

I have my gripes, but it made me chuckle. I can understand not liking it, but 1/10 is a nonsense.

Funny how they swap the all cast :

Niles for kid of Niles (David).
Daphne for Neighbor Girl (Eve).
Martin for Frasier Son (Freddy).
Roz for School Director (Olivia)
Bulldog for Old Friend (Alan)
