Strong start for the second season of this brilliant show. The time jump from season one will definitely bring an interesting story and I just love the special effects in this show. Can‘t wait to see the next episode.
What a stupid episode. All the astronauts on the moon are just leisurely watching the sunrise? What the hell is this? A field trip? Meanwhile the Dutch guy gets stuck under his rover getting burned to a crisp and Molly decides to doom herself as well to go out and save him. A ton of new astronauts join the show and there's absolutely no insight into who they are and what are their backstory. They just tried to move the show forward too fast, there's a huge gap from the first season and it's feeling way rushed. Hope this improves over the next few episodes because season 1 was a true gem.
Molly was really stupid to do that. Really, really stupid. And pointless, other than almost certainly death for her, when Woobo was already lost. So, no benefit, only additional loss. Damn.
So... Molly basically committed suicide by cancer in order to save a dead astronaut? and she's supposed to be like... astronaut level smart?!

Hot Damn. This is why you don't read the synapse before watching an episode. Had i known about the solar storm i wouldn't have been as engaged as i was. This show takes the practical science and applies it in a way that gives me a nerd-gasm

Thats so dumb. Why isn’t there real time readings of the sun on the moon base. Now you have to wait for a middle man to tell you whats going on? They’re so quick to be first on the moon that dont even have the proper tech on base.
And maybe i missed it but they didnt give us no sort of timeline between this season and last
I think big timejumps are always a bad idea if you keep the characters.
The only one I would believe having aged 10 years is Ed and Mollys husband (can't remember the name) -Everyone else just looks the same.
Thats problematic because the characters don't behave like 10 year older versions of themselves. Especially Molly who should be in her mid-50ies doesn't.
Also: How do they have a Mars Program in progress with the technology from back then?
They are talking about it like they are actually planning to go soonish while out technology more than 20 years later is barely adequate (ideally you want proven tech, not cutting edge when you are going somewhere with no one to help and nowhere to escape when something goes wrong)
I do love a good time jump. Interesting to see where everyone has ended up. I love that Ed and Karen had ended up raising another child. Bless them.
Amazing to see Margo in charge on the ground and Ellen up on Jamestown. We'll deserved in both cases.
That last section had be feeling out of breath though. Oh Molly what have you done. Never risk it when it comes to radiation! There's no coming back from that :(

Good for Tracy for finally ditching Gordo.
Season 2 starts years later. We see known faces and a bunch of new people. Interesting how things resolved. Ed and Karen seem to have adopted a girl. And Karen has bought the Bar? So where’s Pam? Gordo holds speeches about the time on the moon and seems to have an issue with alcohol.
I don’t know what to think of Molly’s rescue of the other astronaut. That was a bit stupid I think.
But after all, it seems a pretty good start for the second season for me.
Well consider me hooked now.
Let’s turn one dead astronaut… into TWO dead astronauts. This season is starting off darker than Chernobyl’s graphite covered grounds, and I’m all for it.
