1. Old batteries in old phones last a month, not a day. (I still use one like the spare)
2. Not knowing if the bomb has been disarmed, allow the terrorist to make a call to detonate it? Seriously???
PS. For many years, the FBI has been able to order the shutdown of the telephone network in an area where charges may be detonated by telephone. In other countries, cell wave jamming is used.

From the description, this feels like a show that I should enjoy, but it was such a slow pace and I wasn't feeling the characters as real people. The ending almost tempted me to raise the rating by a star, but I was bored for so much of the episode that I didn't think it was warranted. I am hoping that some of this is my impatience with the introduction to the characters (which is one of the reasons I tend not to like pilots), so I will give it another episode, but it needs to move faster and/or make the characters feel more authentic, if I'm going to watch beyond that.
