My favorite episode of the season so far... Ben Whishaw is probably the strongest performer in this season (along with Salvatore Esposito and Tim Olyphant) - so it's great to see him get an episode to shine.
"East/West" is, unsurprisingly, another low-quality episode. What was the point of making this one black and white? More pretentious than thematically appropriate, in my opinion. Rabbi and Satchel have no chemistry whatsoever, so an episode centring around them feels like filler. Honestly, this episode reminds me of "The Laws of Non-Contradiction" from the previous season, though at least that filler episode had some unique animation to alleviate the boredom. At least we are spared Chris Rock and Salvatore Esposito's laughable acting in this one, so that's a plus.
Overall, pretty bad.
This is the most Coen Bros episode of Fargo. Definitely one of my picks for Best Episode of 2020, and possibly the decade.
“T. Woodman Appliances” . Kansas? Significant? :woman_shrugging_tone1:
You read the comments section and you find people who either love the episode or absolutely hate it. Personal taste a side, there's people who clearly don't understand or don't know a thing about this show in particular or tv shows in general. Who do you think it is that fits in this description is your choice to make. ;)
Easily the best episode of the season. Stunning cinematography with amazing dialogue and acting. Despite having such a tiny scope, it is just massively more enticing than any other previous episode.
After 8 episodes, one that catch my attention and one with the Fargo style!
What is going on with this series? This kind of episode fits when it's earned - when the rest of the series has been engaging enough to warrant it. It really, really hasn't, so this episode just felt boring and pretentious.
The whole episode is black and white, which usually means the one making it is trying to be artsy.
After seeing the whole episide I must conclude that they did, indeed, try to be artsy If you get the reference they make: so much the better cause I quite frankly didn't before I decided to check whether I was watching a wrong copy.
Artsy for artsy sake.
Boring episode, the whole season is not my kind of serie
Follow the yellow brick black asphalt road.
What the hell did I just watched. Utter nonsense waste of time episode. Don’t even bother watching it. Literally nothing happens. No story progression. Nothing. It’s an hour of your life you will never get back.
Bruh. This might be the weakest season but THAT scene is the most insane FARGO has ever gone.
I loved this episode, made it worth the whole watch, to be honest. Loved the relationship between the "Rabbi" and Satchel, and the pace was thoughtful, but not boring like most of the episodes. The hurricane scene made me go WTF and it was a good one, the b\w made it look even more horrifying, and this effect seemed However, with 2 episodes left and 0.40 speed... I can make till the end. I just hope Satchel gets back home.
At last a classic Fargo episode and by far the best of the season. Hopefully it continues in the same vein.
Boring. What are we even watching any more? What is the plot? Nothing... Stuff just happening.

Finally a classic Fargo episode. And I'm not surprised it's better without Rock and Schwartzman. Chris Rock especially has not been convincing as a mob boss
