“Eating the Blame” is another great episode that maintains Fargo’s high quality thus far. While I enjoyed Malvo’s scheming yet again, with his cunning nature outsmarting the police, I can't help but wonder how the blackmail story will connect with the overall narrative? I also didn't particularly like the shot of him standing on top of the supermarket. It felt a bit cheesy. In saying that, I am continually impressed with the solid acting all around, and how consistently entertaining this show has been so far.
Overall, this is high-quality television.

There are no words for how good Billy Bob is. It's not just that he totally sells the creepy and scary Lorne character, he also absolutely nails playing Lorne playing mild mannered pastor in a way that it doesn't feel just as a totally different character. You see Lorne beneath the charade but also see how the police would have bought the rouse. The way the character is written too is superb as he isn't a straight up psychopath but also has some sense of morality and even empathy.
