This episode was definitely interesting since I have not yet encountered a lot of stuff regarding monogamy especially from biological, anthropological, and historical perspectives. I loved that the insights here were personally divisive because it really had me thinking about my perception of marriage as an instution and relationships in general.
I definitely wouldn't call it "A one-sided piece of propaganda.". It's not hard to guess the background and opinions of people who would think that.
However it should have dealt better with the separation between monogamy as a behavior and as a social contract.
In our societies, property still exist, resources are not shared like they could be in a tribe, which means burdens are not either. Raising someone else's child is a huge burden on every aspect of your life. Some constraints comes with sharing your life with someone, and there is an expected return for sacrifices made.
The sexual freedom part is almost unrelated to that. Almost because sense of property kinda translates to people too. And also because your partner looking elsewhere present a risk of them looking elsewhere definitively, making you lose you due from the social contract part.

A one-sided piece of propaganda. Truly disturbing in what it wants to convey.
