This is really good. Feels more like a movie and not like an episode of a TV show
Considering how slow this show is and how they deliberately keep the audience in the dark, only spoon feeding tiny bits of information it’s surprising how obvious the exposition is. The show spends so much time trying to create a mood that it should be able to weave the details in without resorting to clunky cliches and obvious exposition like, “you promised you’d stop… if you hadn’t been drinking that night then maybe…” as she trails off. Actually that whole scene is awful, the poor actors probably aren’t that bad but the crappy lines and direction leave them floundering.
Some people take issue with Kidman’s face but her particular appearance works for this character. Personally I like her well enough and she is one of the better actors here, although even she suffers from the poor script and direction.
The opening set up presents the show as being about the people who mess up and their negligence leads to someone else dying or being badly profoundly injured. The voice over says that most stories are about the victims but the narrator is interested in the people who caused the tragedy. Yet the story focuses more on the victims and doesn’t end up even explaining what happened, only that the culprit is despised by the victims family.
Boring and in no way inspires me to watch more. I cant imagine this doing very well.

WOW this is some bad acting. And a slow show to boot. Not worth it.
