As usual Doug is a masterpiece of irresponsability. Just get rid of him, this is getting boring.
That's really nice of the mother to rat Doug Ross out, one second after her kid died. First, Doug moves heaven and earth to get the dying kid home with a PCA, then she calls hysterical that she doesn't know how to push a simple button and makes Carol and Doug go to her home. After imposing on them to stay all night watching her son die, she starts in on begging Doug to override the painkiller limit. As a thank you for all that, she immediately spills the beans to the Police that Doug gave her the code to the PCA and showed her how to program it for a lethal does...Like wtf, give the guy a damn break! Just take the blame yourself or better yet, don't say anything!
