This entire Reichenbach arch has been a total snooze fest....Until now. This was a great episode that reminded me of why I started watching this series in the first place. It has been a long time since there was an episode this well written and acted.

No the usual average case of the week with the NYPD, a deeper look into Odin's monstrous way of life, Morland Holmes' return, the rise of Sherlock's advantage over Odin, the fall of Sherlock's advantage over Odin... This was a refreshingly good episode!
On the downside of things, I find it hard to believe such a powerful person as Sherlock's father could have been so easily put down. Maybe it's all a deception and he's still alive, or maybe the show really wants us to feel how insanely influential Odin can be. This season is turning into a David vs. Goliath affair, which is getting quite interesting and it's making me very curious to see where they're going with this apparently unobtainable victory.
