well, that was disappointingly abrupt and cobbled together. who could've guessed
As the most rated episode of this season, I was looking forward to this. But it turns out to be quite disappointing. Why? Moriarty does not feel like the person to fall for history's most infamous reasoning in literature and other media for illogical things people do: love. I don't think Holmes would believe that Moriarty is going to fall for that either. Ever since the last episode, I've had only this in my mind, hoping the finale does anything but this and subvert my expectations cleverly, like many of the works based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works do. Not to mention the quarrel between Holmes and Watson before the big reveal being one of the worst twist setup, which is because their relationship is as deep as a puddle.

i'm sorry, but Lucy Lu as Watson just isn't as appealing. i guess i'm only watching this show because all my other shows i've finished and so this is episode and tv show happened to be my last resort. :(
