Every aspect, every twist and turn is so predictable - it just doesn't get any better that way.
Mother Mallum in all of this pulls my heartstrings the most (after Betsy). Never gives up on her daughter, does her best to stand up to her husband, gives everything to try and make things better. I'm not one for the nuclear family but she'll stay with me.
Hard to watch... But the reality of drugs... Still crying with Best and Doc.

That episode was a kick in the teeth, doubling down on the corruption and decay in the American "democracy". Every escape is closed. The criminals always win, and the rich get richer, and they're usually the same people.
