Still deeply impressed at the intelligent tone juggling of this script, from the screwball antics of the Doctor and Vicki, to the genuinely harrowing horrors of slavery Ian and Barbara have fallen into. Sharp, snappy, and surprisingly elaborate given the production limitations, with the crashing of the ship being very cleverly suggested.
