In the final episode of Season 1, after the investigators summarize what happened, a character says, "You know, what you're describing is both insane and impossible." I agree. The events in this series are both insane and impossible. As Season 1 progressed, the things that happen slowly turn from implausible to just plain fantasy. I don't know who wrote this or why none of the production team seem to have experience living in the real world, but it's remarkable that something this bad could get made at all. The acting is bad, there are continuity errors, the plot holes are enormous and numerous. Anyone involved in this series should be banned from content production for life.
Update After Season Three: I’ve got to lower my rating after watching the last season. The lack of research by the writers into the culture into which they catapulted our trusty team was quite appalling. They didn’t even attempt to be accurate in the people or their unique society. It made me aware of how riddled the show was in errors and improbabilities. However, I still appreciated the characters and performances of the team and the story. I now give the series a 7 (Good drama and cast) out of 10. [Crime Drama]
After Season Two: I’m going to offers a minority opinion on this show and say that I really like this series. The first season had a bit of a Suspect of the Week vibe but they corrected that in the second season. Archie Panjabi will always be a draw for me but this cast is jam packed with talented Canadian character actors. Great performances. Acceptable writing. I give this series an 8 (great) out of 10. [Crime Drama]
Probably just me, but I just don't find this interesting! It seems that it's dragging on unnecessarily. Boring like a 'made for TV' series of old. Remember them?
season 3 was going pretty good until the last episode when things got unnecessarily convoluted. They should have axed out that last plot twist. I do enjoy the Canadian content, setting and actors though.

Probably just me—but I couldn't get into this series at all.
