Wait no second season? Why?

I don't know how this show compares to the comics but on its own it's very good.
The acting is pretty good for the most part and the soundtrack is great.

This show is so ridiculous, in a good way and also bad. The writing is so bad; feels like a white person trying to wing every single thing just for the sake of a story. Please don't make me start on the script!!! Not sure how close this show is adapted from the graphic novel but for some reason they managed to execute this show quite well. Plot is very messy but I get that that’s the whole point and charm of this show. I guess some people would’ve preferred cramming literally everyone’s backstory in one season, but not me lol. Graphics and animation were really nice (I'm just a sucker for comics themes lol) although I would’ve expected a little more 80s comic or “independent comic” vibes since they keep referencing this throughout the whole show.

Probably the makeup or the styling but Maria looked way too damn old to be in that role. Between the acting and other plot points, this show were constantly breaking my immersion by being so unbeleivable.

So this is one of those shows it's certainly not for kids but it's fantastic so much going on.lots of laughs and action as well there's plenty of adult content too lots of gory violence language and even sex judging by.the preivews .even though there's no sex in the first episode. I highly recommend you watch this

I really wanted to like this, but it's written like the personal fantasy of a teen edgelord. The shallow melodrama alone is bad enough, but on top of that all the characters are cookie-cutter stereotypes, everyone behaves pretty nonsensically, all the hot girls want him, etc.

After reading the comics, I never thought Deadly Class could be turned into a movie, let alone a TV series. The comic is chaotic, both in story and style.

But I'm loving this series. It's pretty dark and violent (as you'd expect) with a bit of humour, but the story is similar-ish to the original, but obviously tidied up for this media.

Overall, after a couple of years of smae-ness in what has been made, Deadly Class is a refreshing change.

But be warned, it nihilistic and violent - it's definitely not for everyone.

Great pilot, also unexpected to see Henry Rollins as a lecturer. Straight on to my watch list. Great score too.

This is something I don't understand about American TV executives, this show is head and shoulders above some of the tripe that gets retained and yet no second series. It can't be costs, I can't see the ratings but I would have thought they would be pretty good, I don't understand why it has finished. Admittedly it isn't "sci-fi" but it has that fantasy edge that would keep it in their remit. I am also amazed that no one else has taken this up, (are you watching Netflix/Amazon? ).

It had a great potential... But once again the audience failed to see it. Hence, we will never know what happened to Marcus and his band :person_facepalming:♀
Congratulations to the cast and crew, great job. Thank you

I enjoyed this one. It's like if Hogwarts was a school for Assassins. Shame that there wasn't a second season. Nothing ground breaking, but entertaining.

Nihilism, despair and hopelessness are the justification for the violence, chaotic mayhem and temporary gratification that is celebrated in this series. The writers tear down any source of hope or value that might lead to freedom or positive change. For a young audience the violence and world view may seem entertaining or cathartic but these teases only leads in one direction, toward the abandonment of hope. There are long monologues by the protagonist about why the systems of the world are so diseased and, of course, there are action sequences. The series was a beginning for some young talent. Fans of Taylor Hickson may follow her filmography back to this. I’m just glad the series was canceled and she got to move on to more life affirming projects. I’m not a fan of films that increase adolescent despair and hopelessness. I give this series a 4 (toxic) out of 10 [Action Drama]

Aggh, kind of meh but Marcus is such a cutie and Lana condor, yes! Its funny and stereotypical but the Las Vegas episode was hilarious.

Pretty good show. Could have done with less teen/early 20's drama and more murder school violence but still very entertaining.

Probably not worth re-watching ever.

Anarchy and nihilism - dangerous and a stealthy poison for young minds. It is irresponsible to unleash them on a young audience who only sees the allure of rebellion and not the cliff before them. I abandoned this series and give it a 2 (dangerous) out of 10. [Criminal Negligence]
