YO REVERSE FLASH I ACTUALLY DIDNT EXPECT THAT WHAT A SURPRISE
No idea if this is the final season but it sure as hell is for me. Just can’t take the woke level this thing reached nor the writing or plot holes anymore. It was fun while it lasted, hell, I watched one season more of Legends than i did Flash.
Old Reverse Flash was a nice surprise. Shame he isn't playing Reverse Flash IN the Flash show anymore lol. And technically this means that there are two of them in the Prime Earth. This one with a new job and the other one just being an old ass like always lol.
This was a special episode. I know some people will find it annoying when a show tries itself on what is considered 'woke' subjects but I appreciate it. It's important that people can identify with their favorite characters. The moment where Spooner 'comes out' to Zari is not a very touching, emotional, bawling your eyes out moment but this was actually way better. They didn't make too big of a fuss about it. It's just a conversation between two friends that leads to a sort of epiphany for one. Now.. the moment between Gwyn and Ava had me crying!
Furthermore... this episode contains my all time favorite character in the whole Arrowverse. (I've said what I've said) So you bet your ass I was excited and am even more excited for the next episode because Thawne wouldn't be Thawne if he doesn't have something up his sleeve!
I love it very much when everything just clicks in an episode, but this was almost a season 2-3 quality one, you know, when their self-awareness gets to the point when it's not just funny but has a good and exciting concept behind it as well? 'The Fixed Point' is an amazing name for a bar, but I liked the whole idea of the bar and the community of time travelers. Woud have been an even better episode if it ends when Eobard restarts the clock.
Also: if Gwyn's plan is that he won't know if he succeeded or not then he would have a really sad story, but it would work out since he did invent time travel, so maybe Alun is still alive and it's just a loophole where Gwyn always thinks he's dead and always builds a time machine and accepts that he won't know if he succeeds?
Groundhog day was much better than this rubbish!!
I was NOT expecting that surprise comeback. I literally GASPED
AND SARA WTF YOU CAN'T TRUST THAWNE (update after watching the next episode: ... I stand corrected)

What it really means when we say "representation matters" - seeing an integral aspect of yourself in a character you already felt was a lot like you (or not like you, but one you admired) and being reminded that you are valid, that YOU matter.
Also, there was something in there about redemption... lol, they made a few points with this episode.
Yep, I don't think I could love this show more if I tried. 8/10
