I'm enjoying learning about these figures in comedy history, but it's hard to ignore how exploitative the show feels. A 2 season show about comedians' addiction problems and death? No analysis of why this happens, or healthy ways to combat the psychological pitfalls that these people fell into? It all just feels a bit like profiting and taking a tour of someone's death, and their health issues. Pretty insensitive.
2 episodes in and it really sucks. they basically focus on an issue or two and then have a dozen people just repeat the same crap over and over. And all the guests are c-list or lower. ugh...
