Just saw that this one existed and had to watch it, but probably should have re-watched the initial one first as it did took me a bit to remember things around the story and the characters, which is one of the reasons I gave it a bit lower score.
Otherwise, it is pretty good as story and animation although almost no fighting or at least nothing big that could be considered a great fight. There was nice character development and a bit more story towards the original one.
Would suggest re/watching the original one then continuing with this.

It's not what I expected, I forget a long time ago about the first show. And in 2022 watching this show is a chore. The drawing are awful, it feel cheap and I don't remember all the story and who is who... Sad, cause I liked a lot the first show!
