A very, very good second season, that doesn't sit on the accomplishments of the first ones and instead constantly moves forward with new inventions and great plot developments. And the musical number are out of this world. And it makes me laugh so hard. And Vella Lovell.

With that out of the way, this season is also an improvement in its pacing- 13 episodes keeps it tight and building up to the only climax it could have and the music is as witty and fun as ever. Scott Michael Foster doesn't quite earn his place yet- Santino Fontana leaves a big hole to fill, as satisfying his arc it was. The second season's biggest flaw is one of its strengths- Rebecca and Josh aren't going to work out, they're not good for each other, we know that. So it can't be as interesting as the fallout. But it leaves S3 in a very promising place.
Liked it a bit less than the first season because it focused more on Rebbecca & Josh as characters, but often without their usual support structures, so they just keep making bad decisions. The Side character stuff wasn't as interesting as all the Greg & Darryl stuff from the first season. I like how it ended, though, excited to start the next season.

This is by far my favorite season of the show. Every episode is either good or excellent and it has some of the best songs and the best humor. Everyone's a little more settled into their characters and the introduction to Nathaniel adds so much to the show!! I could go on and on about how perfect this season is...
