Terrible end for a terrible show. In this sense a fitting end.
Jumped the shark somewhere in the first 3 seasons and died a painfully and shamefully slow death.
Then you probably aks why I comment on here when I "hate" the show so much. Simple, I mentioned it on another episode somewhere before, I grew accustomed to the cast. It's a likable cast, working well together. But the quality of the show went downhill and never ever recovered in the slightest.
The "What? What? What?" must have been one of the unfunniest things I have ever seen in a comedy/sitcom and anything remotely funny related show. It even seemed like the actors didn't like it.
While I enjoyed the first few seasons and a few guest appearances later on, I always hated the blatant encouraging of alcoholism and making fun thereof in this show. Finally that is over.
Cougar Town finally getting its new title „Sunshine State“ is quite fitting for this quite emotional series finale. I really will miss this show which was just so fun and casual to watch.
