Extremely underwhelming show.
It is quite a good, dark horror show - if you're able to ignore everything that is wrong with the show. Sadly, that is everything except the horror aspects of this show.
You'll see here awful and unlikable actors. Playing the most uninspired cardboard characters I have seen in a long time and I watch anime.
Boring plots and a lazy execution, both seem uninspired, too. Angels who like to torture poor, damned souls and acting against what I learned angels are there for in the religious believe in the first place.
As a viewer who looked forward to this, I don't care at all for any person that has appeared so far and I usually tend to like antiheroes.
I know this is more or less based on the Hellblazer comics and not having read those I can't comment on the quality and loyalty to the source material.
But I don't believe that this show is a good addition to this universe.

Canceled damn I liked the corny plots sort of like comic book writing,but still like the 13 episodes!!!!
The main actor is so perfectly cast! The writing needs some work, but when it goes with Matt Ryan, the show is flawless. I hope it gets a S2, because it has potential when they let it be. Also the comics are great, so with that source, there is a lot to work with. The thing is that Ryan is 100% Hellblazer, but a lot of the show is more like early Supernatural.
Damn it. Maybe SyFy can pick it up.
Terrible show, it won't last... Thing-of-the-week with an attempt at an underlying continuing plot are already overdone, viewers don't really want another one on the trash heap...
Great show...Yes another great show which was cancelled or not renewed. Watch it, will surely remind you alot of Supernatural. 8/10

My favorite scene is where Zed tells Anne Marie straight to her face that John can talk to the angel and asked him for help, not the church. Her reaction was priceless :)

Constantine Season 1 will run for 13 episodes which will air through out 2014-2015, Whether there is an option for a back 9 is yet to be revealed.
Loved this show from beginning to tragically quick end
Matt Ryan was so fucking hot that alone kept me going up until the 6th episode but man the writing is so bad. John Constantine is extremely overpowered, breaking out a brand new rediculously powerful ability every single episode. Characters just leap to random conclusions, the world building is so vague. Supernatural has a lower budget but man it's so much better, trying to watch this show just made me appreciate that one more.
Probably won't watch anymore, overall rating for the show is 3/10. goddamn matt ryan is hot.
I haven’t finished this yet but disappointing there’s no season 2, except it doesn’t really matter since he’s one of the legends so Constantine season 2 is basically legends of tommorow
I didn't start liking the show until episode 7.
I normally will only give a show 3 or 4 episodes max to impress me but the episodes before #7 had enough "moments" to convince me to keep going.
It's an "ok" show, but so many other shows does similar concepts better.

Well pilot ok he is a good Constantine. But where did he get that so called Liverpool accent?
...hm.... I don't really know, but let's be fair, you get some good entertainment( rated 6,5/10) along with some decent acting(7/10, there are flaws), but the settings are soo boring that I can't sit through an episode of this without taking at least 1 break.
Maybe I had luck before, but this is the FIRST time in my entire life I had to take a 30min/1h break before finish an episode.
I never understood people who meant they couldn't watch an episode of something boring on one go, but thanks to this I finally get what they mean.

OK, so this was different. Can't recall ever watching a show and being so undecided on whether I liked or not.
Think I'll tune in again next week but first I'll enjoy a hand rolled special blend in order to watch from a different perspective.

Oh hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Matt Ryan is the perfect Constantine and the pilot was a million times better than the movie. Not perfect, but still it was pretty good. Will be interesting to see where it goes and maybe it could beat The Flash for my favourite comic book show on TV at the moment.
The pilot and the movie are completely different. Still enjoyable if you're not a stickler of facts.
I'm hoping this is a good show as the movie was great ,but after seen the pilot it seem a bit cheap we have to wait and see

I liked this show and it's a real shame that it ended. I was really curious about the cliffhanger from the final episode and the what and how about the coming darkness.. But alas... we'll never know :(
Perfectly cast actors though.. They could not have picked a better person for John and they really copied his character from the comics. I have not read all of them but I did recognize some of the stories..
Anyway, a shame that it ended..
