Others've commented they haven't seen, "Pulp Fiction," but... I saw, "My Dinner With Andre," at The Camera One in San Jose, CA when it first came out (and, may have paid $79.00 for the VHS tape -- it continues to be one of my all time favorite films). This was sweet -- if also frustrating!
Somehow I have gotten through life without seeing Pulp Fiction. It's iconic in it's own right, so at least I am very aware of it and things about it. I don't feel totally lost watching something like this. Overall though I really, really loved the Dinner with Andre "movie" scenes. Jeff shares his Halloween costume memory (so traumatic) in such a way that brings out longing in such a bittersweet way while I am laughing out loud the whole time. It's priceless.
