He's had some great guests on, and has had a great opportunity to have a great show, but it's all to "TV" and it's overdone. The editing is too cheesy, with the stock footage of the coffee brewing and the corny royalty-free jazz music in the background. Even though it's a self-funded "web show", Jerry somehow managed to television the shit out of it.
A unique and entertaining show that follows a simple yet intriguing concept of comedians driving around in vintage cars, having casual conversations and getting coffee. The show's relaxed and informal vibe is a refreshing break from traditional talk shows, and the conversations are often insightful and funny. However, some of the comedians featured on the show may not be as interesting as others, which can lead to mixed opinions about certain episodes. Despite this, the show is worth watching for its overall concept and the chemistry between the host, Jerry Seinfeld, and his guests. If you're a fan of comedy and casual conversations, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is definitely worth checking out.
Jerry Seinfeld the arrogant "I don't care about anyone" Comedian is annoying the shit out of me. His concept of "no concept" might have worked in the 90s with his Hit-Sitcom "Seinfeld" (not really for me though) but this show is not funny, it's rather very self centered and impolite and most of all: meaningless. Some Comedians are worth watching because of the guest, most episodes though are not worth it. So in the end this show is rather only for the hardcore Seinfeld fan who has a lot of time to kill.
