Was that a deepfake, de-aging or a lookalike actor? O.O

Despite some glaringly mediocre acting/dialogue by “jello cup guy” and the white-haired Korean sensei, this episode justified just why the show is so loved. The scene where Kreese has his second evaluation was exquisitely done, as was his comeback fight scene. Kreese’s fan base might rival Johnny’s if he turns face.

Oh dear, Silver got himself some serious backup/support!

Daniel was finally pushed over his limit and is/was done with karate... :o

Kreese still doesn't really seem to have become a better person, unfortunately. I hoped that Johnny almost got him around but it doesn't really look like it - I certainly didn't like the "one less enemy" comment regarding Daniel's fight. At least the "take care of the other" only seems to refer to Silver and not Johnny.
Speaking of Johnny: I love that he still remembers the "no be there" :D

"One man army not good. I come with you."
Johnny and Chozen are also funny together - especially when they talked about Daniel.

"You're more of a ... blunt instrument."
"Thank you." - Johnny is still classic Johnny xD

Robby: "You didn't fail me."
"It's time that all of us join this fight."
What an epic ending!
I totally love that Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen are finally all working together. Let's just hope that it'll last this time but I'm quite confident - they might struggle a bit due to their differences but they're aligned enough now and understand and trust each other.

Former villain teamup! The predatory dojo takeover with complimentary thermoses! The team rallying together! The return of Devon Lee! The climactic swell! Getting into the head of Kreese for a potential redemption arc! Damn is this show so good.

Every time Mary Mouser speaks, its like fingernails across a chalk board. She sucks man, she sucks.

Is this about Karate or dumb high school love stores, and weird old men who can't let the past go? I can't decide.

Just to land my first point, OMG does Mary Mouser suck at acting. Just terrible.

I find myself fast forwarding through 10% of these shows

The reason to fight doesn’t convince me, I think that was not reflect the sensei Miyagi’s desire

First Jake Paul gets the best of T-Wood and now Will Smiths kid? Good thing he retired. Slow start to this season, but it’s getting better with the last episode and this one. Daniel is getting quite irritating for me.

5x06 - Ouroboros: 7.2/10 (Good, It Gets the Job Done)

With a promising ending, “Family Ties” manages to save itself from the episode’s ups and downs. Everyone is back to Karate; Cobra Kai is more powerful than ever, and this is our characters’ most formidable challenge yet. The jail sequences and Kreese’s psychological session could have been better, which left a feeling of disappointment; nonetheless, it was still enjoyable to watch Kreese receive some character development and come off as less one-dimensional. The visual effects were top-notch; I can’t tell if they used DeepFake or de-ageing magic, but they were impressive. With more than half the season gone, Cobra Kai hasn’t struck as hard as it used to, but with four episodes remaining, there is still time for the season to redeem itself.
