The whole thing about Jay's nickname was meant to be a misdirect - ooooh do we not know Jay's real name? - type of thing. But it was stupid. Knox called him only by his nickname, never Jay, which is unnatural. He also introduced Jay more than once by his nickname only. That's not something you do! That's so weird and forced.
