I think it's funny how, in the first few seasons, there were a few hospitals that were mentioned from time to time. Lakeshore being one of them. But then once Med started, they only ever talked about Med. Always Med Med Med, nothing else. But now that they have this new paramedic character with a medical background, they had to come up with a reason why none of the characters had ever crossed paths with her before now. So Lakeshore suddenly exists again.
So where exactly did this extra truck of people that Herrmann is now in command of come from? Why have we never seen them before? And why are they always there now?

My god, that was a massive piece of cake at the dinner Matt and Naomi had. That's like an entire meal's worth of just cake.

The good thing with this episode was that asshole being recalled... for now. I'm sure the Hollywood hacks figures out a way to bring him up. After all Chicago has a habit of putting incompetent asshats in power so I guess one can call it realism.
