Seriously? Does almost everyone in any group that ends up in a situation in Hollywood hacks stories have to be dysfunctional idiots and psyche cases?
And in every other building collapse they have been rushing to get in to look for survivors but of course not when Dawson gets trapped it's slow motion. And either they never have cell phones or they don't work.
