At some point the writing of the show stopped feeling dynamic... the writers don't seem to have any more ideas for the characters, but have to keep them on anyway. And when they create new characters that actually work, they have to write them out to keep the old ones in... and it feels forced at best.
Once again, (almost) every firefighter that isn't a part of Firehouse 51 proves to be largely incompetent.
I never expected it to happen, but I would've been completely ok with Stella leaving the show to go be LT at another house. This whole leadership arc of hers came out of nowhere and has been super forced. She never exhibited leadership qualities before the show randomly decided she should have them. And the constant girl power crap is annoying.
It only just occurred to me that of the three original Molly's co-owners, only Herrmann remains. Gabby moved away, and Otis died.

Noooooooooo. I liked Pelham. Hope they find another way to keep him in the show.
