I don't know. Perhaps it's just me, but this show strikes me as less Blackadder and more Hogan's Heroes. I guess I can see where it's a good idea, and there are some somewhat funny situations and setups, and jokes. But the style is so much more like 60s sitcoms were in america. I'd never heard of it until seeing it on a list of most loved TV shows of all time, and it was compared to blackadder. I suppose I can see why it didn't really hold up over time.
