A absolute gem. I'm still baffled by what these athletes manage to do with their body. This is just amazing.
But the show is even more than that, it's also a great human adventure.

I wouldn't really have watched this if it wasn't for one of my best friends keeping on insisting that I have to give a try. I liked this, though I think the main reason is because I do performing arts and my director is exactly like Monica in this. So it was really relatable and it was nice being able to see everyone giving their all and how passionate they all were about the art of cheerleading. I think one of my favourite things is that we got a bit of an insight to the personal struggles of the Navaro College Cheer team which helped me be able to root for them when they went to Daytona as I felt like by the finale I really knew them as individuals and not just as part of a team.
Didn't think this would be my thing but there is something brilliant about watching people give 100% in anything.
That said I wish they actually had permission to professionally record the whole routine in Daytona, they cover it via peoples mobile recordings as well which wasn't as bad as it sounds but it still wasn't great especially compared to the rest of the production quality.
I also think it could have been condensed a bit more, maybe 4 episodes would have been enough but regardless it was still a fun watch.

Just finished season 2 and wow I was scared it wasn’t going to live up to the first season, but this was SO good. I finished it all in one night. Such a different feel to this season, but it was just as good. I recommend this to anyone, cause I don’t know anything about cheer and it still slaps. I STAN Monica
