Great ending. I will miss Castlevania series
When I heard this would be the last season with these characters, I was more than a little upset. Until I watched this episode. What an amazing ending to a great show! Do I still want to see the trio back? Though I'd watch it, I'm satisfied with where they left it. The heroes need a rest. Let the next generation take over. :blue_heart:
The whole series is awesome, but I must say that this ending was; too childish? Perhaps I'm getting a wrong idea... Don't really know.
For me the perfect ending would have been; Belmont definitely dead (yes, he killed "The dead" paying this odd act with his own life), the other characters remaking their lives, Dracula and Lisa resting in peace, and for God's sake a proper ending story for Isaac, one of the best characters regarding the complexity of the evolution he had in the show.
A very good ending! Perhaps there was a room for a sequel as Vlad and his wife are back!
It's a "happy" ending for sure, but it seemed a bit lazy that everything that was supposed to happen in the last episode (and before) was essentially retconned in the end. Kind of made the ending feel a little cheap, even though it was still nice. Just my 2 cents.
script writers take notes. that's how you end a show. the last two episodes are flawlessly epic, and a show with a proper ending is something rare. loved the show!
although the door is open for more seasons it's a great ending
This was a good ending for the main trio but not for the others, particularly Isaac and Lenore, which was disappointing.
I hated the ending. The final villain was poorly constructed. It may sound funny because my name is literally "Carmilla", but I have to praise that Carmilla was the best built villain.
SPOILER :warning:: the mains character deaths could have remained. It made my overall opinion of the series change — for worse. /// Dracula's final battle was less interesting than Carmilla's final battle. The final battle with Death despite all the special effects was uninteresting because the villain was not well built, if he hadn't appeared in the series it wouldn't've made any difference. But his submission by Trevor Belmont was really good. I thought the the break in the construction of the dramatization sucked with Trevor's non-death.
It's sad for a main character to die, it's impactful. And him coming back to life breaks that sense of impact and loss. But I think what weighed more was the return of Dracula and Lisa. It was even more unnecessary. In addition to other elements that did not add anything to the development of the series and that I found questionable.
Isaac deserved a more fitting ending, although I didn't think it was bad. He, Carmilla, Alucard, Lenore and Hector were the best built. I didn't really like the conclusion of Hector and Lenore. I also didn't like how Carmilla's final construction was done, but I found it acceptable and I liked how her death was. Out of all the villains her battle and death was the most interesting. But it could have been even better built. I feel she was left out towards the end and Death was introduced and there was no need, or should "Death" character would have been better built.
Sypha and Trevor weren't that interesting, I liked the characters, but I think other main characters were more interesting of knowing the development and outcome than the couple.
Also, the ending was rushed. As I said several times in the text above, "Death" should have been better built and for that it would need more episodes. But before was better completing the arc of both Isaac and Carmilla, Hector and Lenore.
In general, I liked the series. Although I'm disappointed with some elements that I have already mentioned.
