[7.8/10]] I like the main story of this one a lot. Seeing BoJack being protective of Hollyhock, but doing so in a way that is both selfish and selfless. He half-admits to himself that it’s not only a bad idea, but also a way to prove that if he can’t be liked, she must not be able to be liked either. It’s an interesting direction to take BoJack’s growth, and I like the fact that he’s really trying to do better, screwing up in predictably BoJack ways, and even when he’s making amends, kind of screwing up Hollyhock a bit (by giving her more of a complex with his “blob” comment). It’s true to the character and the situation in compelling ways.
On top of that, the FHBA turning out to be a booty-based empowerment show with Felicity Huffman and Sir-Mix-a-Lot (who cannot lie) is a great source of comedy.
Princess Carolyn meeting Ralph’s parents was fun outing too. (Martin Short! Patti Lupone!) It definitely gets the feeling of being a guest in someone else’s family and the awkwardness of that, and offers a nice riff on Passover and similar traditions, mapped over an anthropomorphic animal world. Plus, it’s really heartening when Ralph tells his parents that Princess Carolyn’s sticking around for good.
There’s also a lot of comedy in Mr. PB trying to help Woodchuck defeat Jessica Biel in the Governor’s race. (Man this show sounds weird out of context.) The whole gorilla feet thing is hilarious, as is Mr. PB and Todd joining together to produce more terrible ideas to frustrate Mr. PB’s poor accountant. The combined clown/dentist idea is perfectly comic horribleness.
All-in-all, a great episode of the show.
Why did she chose her eye to poke? That one got me. Hahaha.

Now this is fantastic! All the storylines, BoJack and Hollyhock's, Princess Carolyn and Ralph's, and Mr. Peanutbutter, Todd, Diane and Woodchuck's are all so entertaining. There isn't a single weak link; they're all solid!
Bojack's jealousy towards Hollyhock has such an optimistic ending, and I couldn't be happier to see BoJack screw things up but make them better (even if he creates more problems).
Princess Carolyn and Ralph's is very disturbing. But man, by the episode's end, I had a massive smile on my face. Ralph, let's gooo!
Mr. Peanutbutter's entanglement with Woodchuck is perfect, and it's nice to see Diane and Todd make appearances while also setting up a new story thread and villain for Mr Peanutbutter to take down.
Anyway, The Judge is another fantastic episode! This one is all feel-good by the end, and each subplot delivers!
Also, I know they didn't need to feature Beatrice in this episode, but where did she disappear after her first and only scene?

"If there's one thing I'm famous for, it's that I cannot lie" That one was priceless. The rest of the Felicity Huffman Booty Contest was meh apart from the ridiculous idea itself.
The electoral race is off and on again, and I still see Mr Peanutbutter winning in the end. Meh. Not much interested in this storyline anyway. But the "- I'm signing the lease right now unless you think of a reason not to. - Nothing comes to mind. - OK - By the way I'm dropping out of the race" was hilarious.
Most of Todd ideas until now were ridiculous but had at least some rational base. The clown-dentist thing ? Going a bit too far I think. The pitch to the accountant is still great though.
Ralph's family having their own anti cat traditions was nice.
Main story with Bojack and Hollyhock was not that interesting, but on the character level it's touching to see Bojack try to instill a little self worth into hos daughter given how little he himself has. In the end, she was supposed to crash for one day and is still there after... weeks ? months ?
