The first half of the season up to episode 8 weren't great, mediocre at best. But after episode 9, the episodes were amazing. Yes, they could tone down on the references and work a bit more on character development outside of Chuck and the love between Axe and Wendy seemed forced.
But the constant power moves, trick plays and backstabs were played to perfection. A lot of new developments to cover in the new season, curious to see where they'll take it.
