Season 4 started with a superb episode and an awesome recap song. But it got bad pretty fast. I did not like the second half of this season and the season finale was disappointing.

This is still good, but I feel like it's the weakest season so far, with more than a few storylines and character arcs starting to feel too repetitive now. Two fresh exceptions: Missy's arc (which is GREAT, just incisive, new, and funny) and Jay-Lola's romance, which veers Jay away from past too-juvenile-for-me material (though unfortunately it doesn't stick to the season's end), and they are hilarious together.

Lots of ups and downs for half a season, it gets back on track in the second half, when it starts fucking around with the formula.
