I love the way the showrunners (probably) recognize the audience's Kim question, and then reprogram the agency from the long-standard "what's going to happen to her" to "what she's going to do" now, which is a refreshing narrative turn that feels both surprising and fitting. I wonder if they slyly planned it with the episode's name as well, turning "Something Unforgivable" that sounded pre-air like something that will be done to drive her away, to a potential act she might commit instead. Also love the flip of last season's last scene, in which Jimmy and Kim now reverse roles; the impact is not as lastingly downbeat, but coming after his "Am I bad to you?" makes it a disquieting note nonetheless.

Lalo's steps echoing to thunder-like noise in the last scene have me freak out for Nacho already next season.

A nice mirror image ending to how season four ended, (Kim upset at the idea that Jimmy faked emotion at the Chuck hearing for his license reinstatement) but with the roles reversed.

Nooooo They had one job:weary::weary::weary:doesn’t seem like gus hiring some stupid ass squad smh

Not the strongest finale and probably the weakest episode of this season, and there were some silly scenes. Gus hiring incompetent hitmen that spray their entire magazine into an assortment of ceramics? Why would only one of them have a suppressed gun when they're doing an assassination at night?

Probably the weakest season finale yet, alongside S1. After the incredibly tense and amazing scene at the end of the previous episode, it was kind of an insurmountable task to try and top that. And they didn't. But, the stage is set for the next season quite well.

And that's how you do a cliffhanger

loading replies

obviously the least important thing in this episode, but the attention to detail that goes into kim’s ponytail is insane

I don't know but this finale doesn't feel to me that it justifies waiting another year for the next season.
Feels like a normal episode end.
What a bummer.

Wasn't expecting Lalo to escape assassination with PUBG pan .

[THUNDER RUMBLES]

The last season is going to be fun.

I was wondering why Nacho and Kim don't make it to Breaking Bad. After seeing this episode, I can see why now.

Loved the transition of Lalo's footsteps to the sound of Thunder.

Since the last season Kim's way of acting and thinking had been becoming more and more similar to Jimmy/Saul ways but in the last few episodes they changed drastically to the point that almost all of her reactions are unexpected. And it makes Jimmy to, FINALLY, realize he does no good to Kim.

PD: Those 4 hitmen were killed too easy, come on.

Season 6 is gonna be the greatest season yet

Jimmy and Kim get a hotel room as soon as Lalo leaves. The next day Jimmy finds out from Mike that he has nothing to worry about and Kim runs into Howard at the court house. Howard informs Kim about Jimmy's recent irresponsible behavior and she believes he has other things to be worried about. Later Kim tells Jimmy about the interaction with Howard and devises a plan to hurt but not completely ruin Howard's career. (What is she thinking?! Even Jimmy isn't onboard with this idea!) Meanwhile, Lalo takes Nacho south of the border, Nacho receives a mysterious call to open a gate door and allow a group of assassins to try to kill Lalo but no one is able to stop him. Lalo then realizes Nacho is missing and sets off to find him. Better Call Saul manaes to end another season on a high note. Knowing in advance that season six will be their last and consist of 13 episodes, it'll be interesting to see how Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould will wrap up ths incredible series. Not to mention, the fate of many characters who don't make it to Breaking Bad.

A great season and the best season for me. All the characters excelled in this season, especially Kim and Lalo, and they excelled in the season, as well as Jimmy and Mike, as usual, they starred for the past five seasons.

Great finale for the season and excited for season 6

I think I'll wait until April 20th to binge all episodes of season 5. Wish they would release all episodes with an all access pass to AMC.

Very intense ending! Wonder how Nacho will get out of this!

awesome episode i enjoy it pretty much

Not the explosive finale that I was expecting that would lead to the final season. It was predictable he was going to survive the assassination attempt.

I was hopping for more closure for some parts of the story. But it was still a good episode.
