The dialogue and interactions in this show are so damned good. The silly parts are natural, the somber parts can be taken seriously, and the philosophy of the characters are informed from their unusual life experiences, and the profundity is legitimately profound.
This episode doesn't finish what it starts at the end, so I'd kind of treat this and the next as one installment.
ps. Rickert's voice actress sounds so cute. Just the right amount of kawaii to balance the show's ingredients.
