Have you notice the big editing error at the end?
At the basketball game, the coach call timeout. When that happen, the board show 20sec 55 to 58. The team gather, the coach ask will if he's okay and look at the board. It's now 15sec left 58 to 60. So while in timeout, there was 5 seconds played and 1x 3point shot and a 1x 2points shot? Wow, never saw 2 goal by 2 opposite team so fast.
At least it evens out even more. Finally we get an episode more like what you might expect from a dramatic Fresh Prince. Carlton so focused on sucking up to Person A he misses out on impressing Person B who he actually needs to impressed. It's a classic "suck-up" storyline. One the excellent actor for Carlton can really shine out on. Carlton's character is terrible but Carlton's actor is.. pretty good. Again Ashley is the Banks member of the episode. Carlton tries to come back from the other side of the line. Hilary and Aunt Viv have it out and about 80% of the way to an actual fight. But while the kids are evening out the parents are the great fails this episode. For all the talk about splitting up to cover both games it's super weird then when they completely abandon that to all sit together (minus Ashley and Geoffrey) and instead plan to just go back and forth but just end up not doing that. That's a HUGE dick move on their part to their own son. I think the emotions that come from that are among the most justified in the series to date.
